This is based on a lot of factors:

  • How old your website is
  • How competitive your industry is
  • How much brand awareness you have in your industry
  • And how much previous SEO work you’ve done.

If you’re already at the bottom of the first page for keywords you want to rank for, then we can get you to the top in approx 4 – 8 months.

The further away from page #1 you are, the longer it will take. For most websites we’re looking at about a year to a year and a half.

With LRoss Marketing Consulting you will not. We will make recommendations based on what’s best for your SEO, and we’ll have a discussion about what areas we feel comfortable changing and which areas we don’t.

We take time in our initial market strategy & audit work to understand your brand, your customers, and your positioning in the market. We both respect & leverage those elements in our SEO.

We will not drive SEO results by sacrificing the brand you’ve worked so hard to build.

We will outline 3 – 4 clear KPI’s and report on those monthly.

A little anecdote to convey why we do this: I recall going to senior leadership early in my SEO career and asking how I should handle reporting for clients. The response he gave was “find the number that looks the best and report on that, and every month find the number that looks the most impressive and just report on that.” I still respect this man, but I recall feeling a bit disgusted by this answer.

We set clear KPI’s from the start and explain how those KPI’s result in business revenue.

As always, there are multiple factors to this. However, we won’t bring on new clients for under $2,000 a month.

We keep our client book small at 12 – 20 clients so we can dive deep on strategies, instead of spreading ourselves out over 50 different projects. If you’re looking for cheap, set-it-and-forget-it options. I’m sorry, we’re not the firm for you.
